7/2

After having the DIY dumplings, Emily, Fan, Tracy and I went to Taipie 101 and We Wnet up to the 91st floor to enjoy the astonish night view in Taipei! On the way we walked back to the MRT station, we bumped into "super 131" again!
7/1

We went to Danshwe in the afternoon. While walking, chatting and having snacks on the old street, we saw a 5-boys group introducing themselves as "super 131". Maybe they will become pop idols in the future!
We saw the beautiful sunset at yu-yun dock!
6/30

The guide in the National Palace Museum is so elegant and can speak really beautiful, fluent English! Unfortunately, the museum was too crowded and noisy for us to enjoy all the wonderful cultural relics! I bought a cool sunglasses at Shilin night market with Cynthia.
6/26

We took a bus to Shi-Da night market and tried all kinds of 'Xiao-chi'. All foreign friends praised the foods a lot and it seemed that no one could stop us from trying each snack we saw. Tracy bought a pair of sneakers there! They are really colorful, but they look very giid on him!

7/14

At lunch time, Sharon came up with an idea that since we were in Sitou, we should go to see the sun rise at the observatory up in the mountain! Without a doubt, I joined her. Hearing our discussion about the trip, Ivy and Carolina decided to join our plan!
Before the departure, we bought some cookies and borrowed as much flashlight as we could. Following the map as well as the compass in the ipad  , we left the dorm at 12 and it really dark in the middle of the night even though we had many flashlights.
During the trip, everyone took turns telling stories and jokes so that we could forget about the scary, invisible road in front of us and the more and more stringer fatigued feeling from our feet as we walked further and further. After the last few steep uphill and turns, we eventually reached the observatory at 3:40. I took a nap and got up at 4:50. It was so cold that I could not stop myself from trembling!
Gradually the sky turned brighter and brighter. I could see the clouds up in the sky and the mists beneath where we stood. While the clouds were turning into orange, the mists became thicker and thicker. All of a sudden, a tip of sunshine climbed over the mountain and the entire sun showed up immediately! It was so dazzling and warm that I couldn't look straight at the sun. Right after a while, the mists all evaporated due to the warm sunshine. Part of the sun was covered by the mists again and everything looked so wonderful!

6/28

It's the 5th day of the project, but it's the 1st diary I wright. We went to Jingshan, the northern east part of Taipei, to made the "blue dye". Besides dying the cloth, I also dye my left ring finger accidentally. It's a lot of fun for you never know what your cloth will become until you open it. Much to my surprise, my product looks really nice! Though I've been to Dharma Drum Mountain and Juming Museum before, it's different to have tour guides with us this time. On the way back to NTU, we practice some Taiwanese. It's interesting that even though we all speak Chinese, we have different tone and local language in different area. I believe I can also learn some other local language in the future!
